The Voice kicked off its live playoffs Monday, with singers on Team Blake Shelton and Team Alicia Keys shouting and shoo-be-doo-be-dooing for a spot in the Top 12. First up were the artists under the helm of Blake Shelton. Coaches Alicia Keys, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani all got to bring back a comeback artist during this round. Through innovative real-time voting on the Voice App and Twitter, fans will be able to advance two artists per team into the Top 12 and find out the results on the same night. Lauren Duski is one of Team Blake's most promising members. She gave a solid country-soul performance, having fun with it and nailing the lower parts of the tune. It nearly doesn't seem fair to summarize the unbelievable performance she delivered of the song "Defying Gravity". "So I'm just going to say the person that I am moving forward is my man, TSoul". Alicia was proud of him for conquering this song and making it his own, she added nobody can deny the gift he is offering here. The show will send out one tweet per artist and the tweet that is resent the most will determine the winners. "You killed it. I am glad to be on this journey with you", were Blake's comments for Temple. Awww, Gwen just called Aaliyah a "phenomenon of cuteness"! Are you ready to vote?
After her song, coach Alicia Keys said that she loved Anatalia's performance. "That was exactly what you needed to do", she told Rose. Blake too was impressed with his song and congratulated TSoul for the wonderful energy he showed on the stage.
