There is no doubt that Apple has some major plans for the iPhone's tenth anniversary this year. The screen is said to look dramatically better than those on the current iPhone 7 models, according to Fast Co's sources.
Citing unnamed "people familiar with the matter", Bloomberg today noted that Apple has ordered around 100 million OLED display screens for its new iPhones from Samsung because "other suppliers won't be ready to supply mass quantities until later".
One of the popular rumors about the iPhone 8 is that Apple is expected to adopt a curved OLED display. Two of those handsets, believed to be called the iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus, could feature only minor upgrades over last year's iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, respectively.
Russian Federation vetoes United Nations statement on North Korea's missile tests
Ambassador Nikki Haley has a message for North Korea: "We're not trying to pick a fight so don't try and give us one". She said members are working on a statement responding to the latest North Korean missile launch that failed.
The curvature of the front of the screen is something that's now in play. Apple has tried to integrate its fingerprint sensor into the screen but it's not clear whether that feature will be included in the upcoming iPhone.
Although the iPhone 8 will be closer to the iPhone 7 in terms of overall size, the size of its display will be slightly larger than that of the iPhone 7 Plus.
Other rumored features of the premium iPhone include a new front-facing camera with 3D, depth-sensing capabilities.
Russian Federation slashes output by 300000 barrels in compliance with OPEC cuts
But the oversupply returned by the fourth quarter, when oil producers made 1. 1 million barrels a day more than global demand. The market climbed to a one-month high of $56.65 on Wednesday before losing ground.
According to the report, Apple has tested many prototypes, including versions that used curved glass and stainless steel. The curves are similar in shape to those on the front of the iPhone 7. However Apple now seems to have abandoned the design upgrade due to supply delays. There is also a third design undergoing testing, one with a metal back rather than glass, and looks reminiscent of that of the original iPhone. However, the dual camera is now said to be vertically placed instead of being horizontally placed as was seen on the iPhone 7 Plus. But Apple might have to delay the launch of its upcoming iPhone 8. A new processor that will use less power without skimping on performance might also make its debut. It's said to have a number of improvements, including new cameras and an OLED display.
However, Apple might have some trouble getting ample supply to customers during its regular fall time frame for releasing new handsets, Bloomberg reports.
