Internal memo on Bill O'Reilly sent to Fox News employees

But it is the unfortunate reality many of us in the public eye must live with today.

The Murdoch family has reportedly chose to pull The O'Reilly Factor off air amid allegations of sexual harassment against prime-time host Bill O'Reilly, and will soon be officially announcing his departure, according to sources close to Gabriel Sherman in NY magazine.

Several weeks ago, a woman named Wendy Walsh stepped forward with another complaint against O'Reilly.

The National Geographic channel says it has made no decision about its development of Bill O'Reilly's book "Killing Patton" following O'Reilly's exit from Fox News. "I can't believe this is still going on".

O'Reilly's exit, which was first reported by NY magazine, follows that of former Fox News Chairman Roger Ailes, who was forced to resign in July after being accused of sexual misconduct by a number of women, including former anchor Gretchen Carlson.

Their trade group, the Florida Taxicab Association, did not respond to requests for comment. This study looked at ride-hailing services like Lyft in Denver and Boulder.

Walsh does not have a legal claim against O'Reilly due to the statute of limitations on harassment cases in NY and California, but she did report the matter to the human resources hotline of the company earlier this month.

O'Reilly released a statement late Wednesday expressing his disappointment in the manner in which he was sacked.

O'Reilly's lawyer told "Extra" in a statement his client "has been subjected to a brutal campaign of character assassination", claiming, "Evidence will be put forth shortly and it is irrefutable".

Kasowitz said he would be presenting "irrefutable evidence" that such a campaign was coordinated.

O'Reilly has enjoyed support in the White House, as well. "Personally, I think he shouldn't have settled".

Man arrested after stalking, proposing to Malia Obama
The eldest daughter of former President Barack Obama is now spending the spring interning at the film production company. No charges have been filed, but New York City police are considering stalking and harassment charges.

Most recently, one woman claimed that O'Reilly once called her "hot chocolate" and would make inappropriate comments and grunts at her in the workplace. The books in his "Killing" historical series, including "Killing Lincoln" and "Killing Reagan", have consistently sold 1 million or more copies in hardcover, a rare achievement in publishing, and his platform on Fox enabled him to promote his work.

The O'Reilly Factor, for now, is simply "The Factor", dropping O'Reilly's name from the show's branding.

- More than 50 advertisers, including BMW and Mercedes-Benz, pulled their commercials from O'Reilly's show.

Investors seemed to take the news in stride. His last time hosting "The O'Reilly Factor" was April 11.

Earlier in the day, New York Magazine reported that O'Reilly, 67, would be let go from his decades-long position as an anchor at Fox News prior to his return from an Italian vacation on April 24.

Yes, Tottenham Hotspur Will Apply Pressure - Chelsea Manager Antonio Conte
I was disappointed with what happened after the game [at Chelsea on Wednesday] but I immediately saw what we have done to improve. But Delph is adamant that he wants to stay at the club next season. "I like to say only the winners write history", he said.
