As the premiere date for Season 3 of AMC's Fear the Walking Dead approaches, news is starting to flood in about what fans can expect.

After an intense season 7 finale, it's pretty clear where The Walking Dead is going in season 8, and TVLine just recently announced that the show is taking 3 specific characters with them as series regulars. Luciana got shot and Nick was rendered unconscious after one of the militia's group members attacked him. Entertainment One manages all worldwide television and home entertainment sales for the show outside of North America and the AMC channels globally.

Variety is reporting that Stephen Ogg, Katelyn Nacon, and Pollyanna McIntosh have been bumped up as regulars.

Ann Coulter vows to speak at Berkeley
UC Berkeley officials say they were unable to find "a safe and suitable" venue for the right-wing provocateur. She called claims of the university trying to set up an alternate date "FAKE NEWS!"

It's hardly surprising to see fresh meat taking centre stage as The Walking Dead is well known for its bloodthirsty body count and with all-out war imminent, new characters have to be promoted. And with Maggie's baby on the way and courageous Sasha in the ground, Enid looks like a good bet for big sister/junior-leader-in-training material, rather than just Carl's crush, Judith's sometime nanny and Hilltop's healthy-meal maker. The two will replace Dave Erickson, who will exit the show after season 3.

Unlike Glenn and Abraham's deaths at the hands of Negan in the opening of the previous season, Gimple described Martin-Green's departure as "tragic" but "less traumatic".

McIntosh portrays Jadis, the leader of a ragtag group of survivors that call themselves Scavengers, quite fitting considering that they live in a junkyard.

The network was already up for "The Walking Dead" season 8 after it ordered a new season in October 2016, even before the seventh installment began airing.

Elsewhere, in Season 3 of "Fear The Walking Dead, " Ofelia (Mercedes Mason) needs to muster the savagery of her father if she wants to survive.
