Smiling doesn't win gold medals

As Biles listened to the critiques of the judges on Monday's Dancing With the Stars, part of week eight of competition, she was clearly exhausted - physically and mentally.

Before Biles could leave the stage, host Tom Bergeron couldn't help but point out she hadn't smiled during the judges' critiques.

Quick backstory though. Biles performed twice on Monday doing the foxtrot with her partner Sasha Farber, and the paso trio with Farber and dancer Brittany Cherry.

Harry Styles channels the Beatles with new song 'Carolina'
And now editors at Britain's The Sun newspaper have reported Harry is dating 27-year-old foodie and model Tess , after being introduced by mutual friends.

"Your skills are unquestionable", judge Carrie Ann Inaba told Biles. The Olympian responded, "Smiling doesn't win you gold medals".

Someone print that on a t-shirt ASAP.

Biles is one of four contestants who remain in the competition.

Could The Health Care Vote Cost Republicans The House Majority?
Their plans for state Medicaid programs also will be scrutinized if massive GOP cuts to Medicaid funding are realized. Some House Republicans already have endured protests at home and outrage on social media in the days since the vote.

Simone also revealed that while she appeared tight-lipped while taking the judges criticism she had tears in her eyes, and she nearly had to run to the bathroom before she "pulled it together". She was utterly serious and only gave her signature smile once during the dance. Sometimes she doesn't want to smile, and there's nothing wrong with that.

Granted, Biles' situation is different than what seems to be the norm of a man approaching a woman on a street and telling her to smile. But when Tom Bergeron asked why she didn't smile at some of the compliments, Simone gave the ultimate response. Curious how she felt about judges comments, I unwittingly added to the smile pile. Shouts to Simone Biles for staying true to herself and not succumbing to pageant puppetry.

'You don't know which wild card of sexy or of happy they want to bring, and you nearly have to read their minds and find it, ' she said. But once again, I'm going to come back to performance and authenticity about who you are when you perform.

Normally the fee is $49, which to be honest, doesn't sound too bad, considering the improvement that comes with app freedom. This 13.5-inch ultrabook has a stylish design featuring an Alcantara covered keyboard.

But you could see how personally Simone took all the criticism. "There's beauty in pain and all of the other emotions, and I'd like to see more of that".
