Tusk hosted Trump in the European Council building under high security, with only a handful of journalists allowed and no press conference.

"We agreed on many areas, first and foremost on counter-terrorism", Tusk said after he and European Union chief executive Jean-Claude Juncker met Trump for over an hour.

The EU and USA leaders talked about foreign policy, security, climate change, trade and Brexit.

Trump delays decision on Paris climate accord
German Chancellor Angela Merkel said the G-7 leaders "put forward very many arguments" for the USA sticking with the agreement. The delay provided opportunity for G-7 leaders and Pope Francis to press Trump to honor the U.S.'s environmental commitments.

Whatever it was, to my mind, we can work out a common position with the United States on Ukraine, Tusk said.

European Union leaders, some of whom will also meet Trump at a G7 summit in Sicily on Friday and Saturday, had wanted to convince Trump to confirm USA participation in the 2015 Paris Agreement to limit Carbon dioxide emissions and global warming.

"I tried to convince him that Brexit is very important and dramatic but just an incident not a trend and President Trump agreed". Eurosceptic leaders said he would offer Britain a free trade deal once it left.

Catholics in the Philippine capital have attended a Mass for people in the southern region now under martial law and in Marawi. We will win this", he said. "I'm just praying that the bullets will not find their way to my house and hit us".

European officials are also concerned that the Trump administration might withdraw from the 2015 Paris climate agreement to limit global warming, and turn away from trade arrangements with the EU. US businesses have taken advantage of its single market to reduce the costs of exporting to Europe.

During a meeting with European Council President Donald Tusk and European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker, Trump "expressed concern that jobs in the US would be lost because of Brexit", according to the source. Pope Francis is "terrific", Trump told Tusk and Juncker, and his welcome in Saudi Arabia was "beyond anything anyone's ever seen".

Doc Rivers says Chris Paul will stay with the Clippers
Last season with the Clippers, Paul averaged 18.1 points per game to go along with 9.2 assists and 5.0 rebounds per game. If Paul left Los Angeles for San Antonio , it wouldn't be a surprise if Blake Griffin opted out of his contract as well.
