White House says will refer questions about Russia probes to Trump's attorney

Dubke offered his resignation earlier this month, White House counselor Kellyanne Conway told The Associated Press on Tuesday, but offered to stay on during the president's first foreign trip.

Dubke's resignation could be the forerunner of a larger staff shake up in the administration.

Dubke said in a memo to associates that his reasons for leaving are "personal".

Some expressed concern for the president, suggesting he may have had a "stroke" mid-type, while others wanted to know why no one at the White House appeared to have noticed the tweet for at least an hour.

White House chief of staff Reince Priebus thanked Dubke in a statement and said he had "offered to remain onboard until a transition is concluded".

Germany's Angela Merkel Wants To Foster India Ties, Softens Message On US
Ms Merkel praised India for implementing that climate pact very "intensively and in a very committed way" and PM Modi said people had no right to ruin the environment for future generations.

Dubke was the founding partner at the Black Rock Group.

Many are reading his departure as the first sign of an impending staff shakeup as Trump tries to fend off growing allegations about ties with Russian Federation and stem a seemingly never-ending flow of leaks.

Dubke, a longtime Republican strategist, joined the Trump White House in mid-February after the administration's sluggish start.

Dubke was then hired to fulfill the communications director responsibilities. His appointment came with some criticism, as CNN reported at the time that some inside the White House said they would have preferred a veteran from the campaign. After just three months on the job, he's back on the outside again.

Press Secretary Sean Spicer - who made a return to the media podium on Tuesday - will reportedly hold fewer on-camera briefings.

Trump's ignorant, counterproductive attack on German trade policy
Trade policy for the European Union is written by the European Commission, which sits in Brussels, not the German government, which sits in Berlin .

After criticizing the media for writing "fake news", at length during a press briefing on Tuesday, White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer was asked to give an example.

"He wants action. This president was elected to get things done", Spicer insisted.

In a post on his Twitter account Wednesday morning, Trump said, "My children, especially my 11-year-old son, Barron, are having a hard time with this".

Recent clashes in communications - such as when White House aides told the media that Mr. Trump fired FBI Director James Comey after a recommendation from his attorney general and deputy attorney general, but the president himself said he had planned to fire Comey "regardless" of any recommendation - have dogged the White House. He is more likely to be a senior adviser or some other yet-to-be determined role. Both Lewandowski and Bossie visited the White House Monday night, according to two people familiar with the meeting, who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss a private get-together. "Everyone is trying to do their best to support the President".
