Jurors say they're deadlocked in Cosby trial, told to keep at it

Jury questions posed during Bill Cosby's sex assault trial

Prosecutors are likely to argue that Cosby's wealth makes him a flight risk, while the defense will say he is a longstanding member of the community and a bond increase should suffice. Each of these charges carries a maximum of ten years in prison, along with a $25,000 fine.

The trial began on June 5, and the jury began deliberating Monday evening.

"Hung juries aren't that common because jurors want to reach a verdict, and they usually get to a verdict", Patterson said.

The supporters are holding signs like "Free Mr. Cosby Now".

At this point, the jury could come back with a partial verdict or no verdict on any of the three felony indecent sexual-assault charges Cosby faces.

The drugs he gave Constand were over-the-counter Benadryl, he had said. He told the Pittsburgh-based panel of seven men and five women that even though they appeared to be deadlocked, "Each of you has a duty to consult with one another...if it can be done without violence", he said. Donald Trump investigated for possible obstruction of justice
The emergence of the obstruction of justice inquiry may make it harder for Trump to have Mueller removed. The Justice Department has long held that it would not be appropriate to indict a sitting president.

The Associated Press does not typically identify people who say they are victims of sexual assault unless they grant permission, which Constand has done.

Cosby sits in a room on the third floor of the courthouse as the jury continues to deliberate the charges brought against him.

Question 2: We would like to see evidence from C-27 - C43.

Question 3: Will you please define what it means in count 3 "without her knowledge?" "Justice means he's given a fair and impartial jury". They introduced telephone records that showed Constand calling Cosby twice on Valentine's Day in 2004 - about a month after the alleged assault.

Right now, the jury is wrestling with three different charges against the entertainer.

Andrea Constand tweeted the video Thursday.

It is also against any move to limit those who can receive the winter fuel allowance. Foster's rivals in Northern Ireland, such as Sinn Fein's Gerry Adams, have objected.

Constand initially told police about the alleged assault in January 2005, a year after she says it took place. Cosby's lawyers maintain Constand was a willing sexual partner. He called the pills her "friends" without telling her what they were, and admitted to giving other young women Quaaludes, a sedative, in the 1970s. In those cases, jurors who take days to come to a decision, often are engaged in a "battle of wits", he said. Cosby then placed her on the couch and sexually assaulted her without her consent, she said.

He allegedly gave her pills that paralyzed her and left her unable to resist when he started touching her in his Philadelphia home. Cosby has denied every claim, saying his encounters with Constand and others were consensual.

She said, "I'm grateful that they are not rushing to a verdict". Shortly after, she became incapacitated and felt "frozen", she testified.

In late 2014, dozens of women went public with accusations that Cosby drugged and sexually assaulted them over the course of his lengthy comedic career.

The jury also revisited Cosby's description of the night from sworn depositions he gave in 2005 and 2006 during a civil lawsuit by Constand and a police interview he conducted in 2005.

In court, Schaffer read aloud Cosby's statements from that interview.
