Golfer Brian Harman leads US Open going into final day

The bogey left him with a 4-under-par 68 for the day and a three-way tie for second place at 11-under - tied with Brooks Koepka and Justin Thomas and one shot behind Brian Harman.

Thomas came into the U.S. Open as the 13th-ranked player in the world, with seven top-10s and more than $4.8 million in prize money in just 15 starts this season. And a day after 44 players finished under par to set the record for most sub-par rounds in the first round, 46 players signed for a sub-par round.

"Obviously, the [eagle] finish was awesome".

"It was a really good round of golf and you don't realise until you start talking about it that I hardly missed a shot all day".

"I felt like I've been playing pretty well all week and didn't have quite the numbers to show for it", Thomas continued. "So I did a really good job of staying present, staying focused on the next shot". The ball landed on the front of the green just soft enough that it rolled out 8 feet by the hole.

Jamie Lovemark, Rickie Fowler and J.B. Holmes, meanwhile, are a shot further back from the leaders.

Fowler, sharing a house with Thomas this week, was being left behind until he ran off three straight birdies and shot 68.

Fox Host Shames Gingrich For Blaming Baseball Shooting On Democrats
It's clear that Gingrich, along with many other Republican allies of the president, is becoming unhinged as this investigation worsens for Trump.

"It's still Saturday, 36 holes is a very long time in a U.S. Open".

Westwood had bogeyed the third and fifth before a superb tee shot on the 239-yard sixth - which played as the most hard hole on Thursday - set up a birdie from 18 feet.

"I'll take exactly where I'm at", Fowler said. I've been there a handful of times and had some good finishes.

Harman closed with two birdies and three tough pars for a 5-under 67 that gave him a one-shot lead at 12-under 204.

World number Rickie Fowler, who held the halfway lead, earned solo fifth with a 68, with Players Championship victor Si Woo Kim a shot back alone in sixth after also carding a 68. There were five after Saturday's round.

The way this third round is going, odds are against him becoming the first player since Tiger Woods at Torrey Pines in 2008 to win a U.S. Open in his home state.

"It was a good display, all my own fault, but a good display of what can happen if you get out of position on this golf course", he said.

Russian Federation says Trump is using 'Cold War rhetoric' on Cuba
While the changes are far-reaching, they appear to be less sweeping than many U.S.pro-engagement advocates had feared. Moscow said Trump's policy changes showed that "anti- Cuban discourse is still widely in demand".

He shot 59 this year in the first round of the Sony Open, the fourth of his PGA Tour victories.

The Englishman had a chance for a piece of the third-round lead at the U.S. Open on Saturday as he lined up his third shot on the par-5 final hole - a 50-yard wedge from the bottom of the hill that led to the green.

"We're going to have a good time", Fowler said.

"Even though it's very disappointing to not be here on the weekend, I think these last two rounds will serve me well going into the summer", McIlroy said.

The four leaders, Harman (two-under 70), Koepka (70), Casey (71) and Fleetwood (70) ended the day on a total of seven-under 137, although the narrow field at the end of the second day promises an unpredictable weekend, reports Efe.

Furyk was never seriously challenged in the final round, and he wound up winning by three shots and matching what was then the U.S. Open record at 272.
