Surface Pro and Surface Laptops are not easy to fix

And while Microsoft has previously marketed it as "the tablet that can replace your laptop", the Surface Pro now carries the tagline of "the most versatile laptop in the world". The devices were launched at two different events and the company recently started shipping the devices to interested buyers.

The Surface Laptop has been designed by using metal, cloth and glass to bring a unique experience to the device. Whether or not it's actually worth going through the trouble of defeating said welding is another matter, given that the "glue-filled monstrosity", as iFixit dubs the laptop, has none of the user-upgradeable parts you'd want to see in a PC, like memory or storage.
