Police have responded to a MA mall for reports of a man with a gun.

The Saugus Police Department is at the scene of a break-in at the Dick's Sporting Goods at the Square One Mall. One armed and risky intruder is believed to be inside.

The Saugus Police Department released this statement addressing the situation.

The mall is closed until further notice, and the public is being asked to stay away.

Donna Stone, who works at the mall, said, "We were told that there was a potential gunman at Dick's Sporting Goods".

State and local police as well as a regional SWAT team responded.
