Emirates Team New Zealand notched up their third successive win in as many races against defending champions Oracle Team USA to go 2-0 up in the America's Cup final on Sunday. The Kiwis' 50-foot catamaran rose onto its hydrofoils and sped off across the turquoise waters of the Great Sound.

Oracle Team USA skipper Jimmy Spithill isn't waiting for the opening race of 35th America's Cup to launch his game of cat-and-mouse with Emirates Team New Zealand. "We're not going to hide from the truth".

Oracle had entered the series with a one-point advantage from an earlier regatta so New Zealand wiped out that advantage after winning the first race.

"Today we sailed a lot of areas better than we did yesterday", Burling said yesterday.

"There's a lot of camera angles, microphones, a lot of data that gets shared from both sides, really".

The five day break is a boon, added Spithill, who noted that the team didn't have almost that much time in 2013 when they were staring down defeat while trailing New Zealand 1-8 in San Francisco.

Callon Petroleum Company (CPE) Getting Somewhat Positive Media Coverage, Study Finds
Scoria Capital Partners LP acquired a new position in Callon Petroleum Company during the third quarter valued at $2,622,000. The Company focuses on the acquisition and development of unconventional oil and natural gas reserves in the Permian Basin.

A win by New Zealand could threaten France's continued sponsorship by French insurance group Groupama as the Kiwis have not signed up to a framework agreement that was created to ensure continuity for the competition. Spithill said, glancing at Barker. He is an America's Cup rookie.

The starting box was an area of concern for the Kiwis during the round-robin and challenger playoffs in Bermuda with the 26-year-old Burling's inexperience at match-racing being exposed in this key zone.

Although they won twice, by 30 seconds and 1 minute, 28 seconds, the Kiwis lead just 1-0.

They gained control from the outset and employed superior boat speed to simply sail clear of the hapless Americans.

At the start of race two Spithill might have sniffed an opportunity when a mistake on a gybe had the Kiwi boat floundering with the Americans poised to attack.

"We were far from our best today. we need to sharpen up and that's what we'll focus on tonight, Oracle skipper Jimmy Spithill told a news conference".

Sterling flat after London attack
He also declared that his 'thoughts and prayers were with those affected by the horrific terrorist attack on innocent people '. Transport for London says Seven Sisters Road has been closed northbound between Hornsey Road and Rock Street.

Oracle Team USA were over the line in the first start, allowing New Zealand to gain an advantage and extend their lead during the race, despite an uncomfortable moment at the last mark, when the Kiwis came off their foils.

The New Zealand team are a fast, well-oiled machine with their aerodynamic pod of four "cyclor" sailors, who supply the energy needed to power the boat's massive wing sail by pedaling on bikes.

"We will go away and look at what we need to improve because we all know for a fact that Jimmy (Spithill) won't give up and so we have to keep progressing".

Team Oracle USA knew this was a major work-on for over a month but they have not (yet) been able to close the gap. That was enough for Burling to speed away around the seven-leg course for a 49-second victory.

The second race saw a tense start, which was also won by New Zealand.

Durbin, speaking on WGN radio, said he hoped the response to Trump firing Mueller would be bipartisan if it occurred. Trump has disputed both claims, saying flatly that he never asked Comey to drop the Flynn probe.
