Facebook Live captures shooting on Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach

Myrtle Beach police have identified and apprehended a suspect in the overnight shooting on Ocean Boulevard, according to Lieutenant Joey Crosby of Myrtle Beach Police.

Facebook user Bubba Hinson captured a fight, shooting and carjacking from a Myrtle Beach, South Carolina hotel early Sunday morning and published the entire incident live on the social media platform. Some people were hit, and taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A patrol vehicle was struck by bullets, but no officer was shot or injured during the shooting.

The security officer suffered a graze wound to the leg, but his injury did not require him to be taken to the hospital and he received medical attention at the scene.

After the shooting, the suspect then carjacked a vehicle, before being arrested a short time later.
