Every big internet company faces a crossroads at some point in its history but Uber's is happening before it has even

The recommendations would be released to employees on Tuesday, said a board representative, who wished to remain anonymous.

The newspaper said its sources requested anonymity because they were not authorized to speak for Uber.

Alongside Uber's management crisis, its self-driving auto programme is in jeopardy after a lawsuit from Alphabet Inc alleging trade secrets theft, and the company has suffered an exodus of top executives.

Kalanick has developed a reputation as an abrasive leader and his approach has rubbed off on his company.

Reuters and the tech blog Recode reported the board meeting earlier.

2 dead in suspected jihadist attack on Mali spa
In March the same year, a grenade and gun attack on La Terrasse nightclub in Bamako killed five people, including foreigners. Malian security minister Salif Traore told AFP news agency that it was a jihadist attack, while conforming the casualties.

As for Michael himself, it would seem that he understands his precarious position within the company and is preparing to resign, The Wall Street Journal reports.

Yet, Eric Holder's investigations on the company's culture has already produced results, and more are expected to come.

Uber told employees this week that more than 20 people have been fired after a company investigation into harassment claims, marking one of the most aggressive responses by the ride-hailing startup to its controversy thus far.

Uber is valued at nearly US$70bn but is yet to make a profit.

Since Kalanick started the company in 2009, it has upended the public transport industry on a global scale, earning it a valuation of $70 billion.

May faces leadership challenge if she softens Brexit
Northern Ireland's frontier with the Republic of Ireland will be the UK's only land border with the European Union after Brexit . The DUP has been accused of having links to Loyalist paramilitary groups and this maybe is one of John Major's concerns.

Travis Kalanick has been criticised for his management style which he admitted needs improvement.

Mr Holder was asked to undertake the review in February after former Uber engineer Susan Fowler made claims of sexual harassment. The investigation had unfettered access to 600,000 of Uber's internal documents, according to the law firm.

Uber's board of directors has been directly linked to the mishandling or suppression of sexual harassment and inequality complaints. But Huffington, a founder of Huffington Post, suggested time might be running out. His mother was killed in late May after the boat she and her husband were piloting on Pine Flat Lake, east of Fresno, hit a rock. His father suffered moderate injuries. Additionally, the board also discussed the possible departure of some of Kalanick's top executives like business chief Emil Michael. But the company faces an added challenge: a depleted leadership team.

"Uber has a long way to go to achieve all that it can, and I am looking forward to seeing what you accomplish in the years ahead", Emil Michael. It also poached Apple's star executive Bozoma Saint John to take over as its first chief brand officer.
