Cosby's lawyers said that when Constand spoke with Cheltenham Township, Pennsylvania, police by phone on January 19, 2005, she said the exact date of the incident was March 16 - a date she thought she had confirmed by contacting someone else who attended the Central High dinner. She clarified today that Cosby had called and invited her to his Pennsylvania house for dinner.

At this point, Constand claims she "lost consciousness again", waking around 4AM, at which point Cosby offered her "a muffin and tea". Cosby is accused of drugging and sexually assaulting Constand a. She was almost hysterical. I realized he was not going to tell me what he gave me that night. "What are they - are they natural? Mr. Cosby helped me by my arm and assisted me over to a couch and said, 'Just relax'".

Cosby, 79, has pleaded not guilty to aggravated indecent assault on Constand.

Gripping the elbow of his publicist, Andrew Wyatt, Cosby smiled at times as he walked into the Montgomery County Courthouse.

Constand's case is the only one in which Cosby has been charged. Johnson testified on Monday that the alleged assault happened in 1996.

Cosby stared down at the defence table, resting a hand across his forehead, as Ms Constand testified. "He didn't want that to happen to her".

Constand said she first met Cosby in late 2002, when she was the newly hired director of basketball operations for Temple University's women's basketball program and he was the school's most famous alumnus.

Cosby judge could revisit issue of revealing names of jurors
The Associated Press does not typically identify people who say they are victims of sexual assault unless they grant permission. They attacked the judge, in a letter from Cosby's wife Camille, as "arrogant" and Steele as "heinous" and "ambitious".

"My dress was pulled up from the bottom, and it was pulled down from the top, and my breasts were out", she said, crying. "I don't remember passing out".

The defense was scheduled to cross-examine Miller later Tuesday.

Under cross-examination by Cosby's co-counsel Angela Agrusa, Constand was being painted as a gold digger after Cosby's fortunes, a profiteer framing Cosby as fiend not friend.

She also stated that she feared what Cosby might do if she came forward with her accusations. Cosby and Frazier were on screen together in the 1978 comedy "California Suite".

"What she did was eerily similar to Mrs. Constand", McMonagle said, accusing both women of changing their stories repeatedly. "You know, the amount. the millions and millions of dollars that he has given back to colleges and education, and just what he did with "The Cosby Show" and how groundbreaking that was".

Lawyers in the case estimate the trial will last about two weeks. There is little forensic evidence against Cosby.

Agrusa has suggested that Constand once enjoyed a romantic dinner by the fire at Cosby's home before the alleged assault.

UK govt scrambles to limit fallout from London blaze
Hands cautioned that officials don't yet have exact details about the renovation that ended just a year ago . The British government has announced a 5 million-pound ($6.3 million) emergency fund for the victims.

"She couldn't say no", Feden said.

Constand, who is gay, says the sexual contact with not consensual. "There was a nice mood", Ms Agrusa began, paraphrasing Ms Constand's 2005 statement to police. She told how Cosby allegedly gave her three blue pills, telling her they were to reduce stress. The drugs he gave Constand were over-the-counter Benadryl, he testified.

The Associated Press does not typically identify people who say they are sexual assault victims unless they grant permission, which Constand and Johnson have done. The criminal case was reopened in 2015, after his previously-sealed testimony from the civil proceedings was made public. If the jury believes her, Cosby may be cooked.

Cosby, who played Doctor Cliff Huxtable in the long-running sitcom The Cosby Show, told the court he is now legally blind.

Ms Johnson, who worked for a talent agency representing Mr Cosby, alleges she woke up partially clothed in the comedian's bed with him behind her, grunting, before he forced her to touch his genitals.

Cosby responded with a jig-like move, looking vaudevillian for a moment as he jutted his cane out as if in a stage show.
