- June 19: A van drives through a crowd of Muslim worshippers near Finsbury Park Mosque in north London, leaving person dead and injuring 10 more. The man died but it was not clear if his death was due to the van attack.

Eyewitness Abdul Rahman said the driver had said he wanted to "kill all Muslims" and told the BBC that he struck the man and helped subdue him.

Muslim Welfare House CEO Toufik Kacimi said the attacker shouted "I did my bit, you deserve it".

- Police said they've not identified any other suspects at the scene nor have any been reported to police.

If confirmed by the authorities as terrorism, it would be the fourth attack since March in Britain and the third to involve a vehicle deliberately driven at pedestrians.

The three are shot dead by police after killing eight people - three French citizens, two Australians, a Canadian, a Spaniard and a Briton. The alleged attacker also reportedly said "kill me now as my job is done" when people managed to stop him.

"I hit him on his stomach... and then me and the other guys... we held him to the ground until he couldn't move".

"He punched me in the head", Hashi said, showing his bruises.

The Islington borough of North London, of which Finsbury Park is a part, is home to a large Muslim community. In a statement Khan said, "While this appears to be an attack on a particular community, like the awful attacks in Manchester, Westminster and London Bridge, it is also an assault on all our shared values of tolerance, freedom and respect". The three Islamic extremists who carried out the attack were killed by police. That attack also appeared inspired by Islamist extremism. Early police caution about declaring the incident to be terrorist-related was interpreted by the community as discriminatory.
