According to the police, one officer sustained minor injuries when he was pepper sprayed during the fracas, and one juvenile was arrested.

The brawl started between about two dozen people in the food court and grew from there, police said. As officers attempted to stop the fighting, they were attacked and assaulted.

Police did not immediately disclose the details of what happened, but dozens of officers remained outside the mall on Market and Fifth streets at 8 p.m., at least an hour after the incident.
