A 1-2 for Mercedes AMG F1, led by Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas, seemed to be the recipe for a hard weekend for championship rivals Ferrari and Sebastian Vettel.

Hamilton accused Vettel of "disrespectful" driving after the four-time champion pulled alongside Hamilton and appeared to deliberately swerve into him when they were behind the safety auto approaching the midway point of a stop-start race. With about 10 minutes left in P3, Verstappen's vehicle ground to a halt on the side of the track and he stood inspecting it for several moments. "It's not deserving of that reaction from someone you have respect for", Hamilton said.

"All weekend we've not been able to (get our tyres up to temperature) in one lap, but others have, so I had to give it everything", he continued.

"I am so pumped with that". Feeling he'd been brake tested by his rival, Vettel gesticulated angrily and pulled alongside and seemed to purposefully knock into the Mercedes driver.

Ricciardo admitted on the podium it was a race he never saw himself winning once he had to pit early after encountering a problem caused by debris from Kimi Raikkonen's Ferrari after an opening lap incident with Bottas.

The incident in lap 20 resulted in Vettel being given a 10-second stop-go penalty but, after Hamilton lost time dealing with a loose headrest, the Mercedes man finished in fifth place while Vettel ended in fourth.

Faedo fabulous again, Florida beats TCU to go to CWS finals
The last time a team did it in the College World Series was in 2010, when FSU's Sherman Johnson and Mike McGee did it against TCU. Saturday's game was similar to Friday's, with the Beavers giving up runs early and LSU pitchers keeping them off balance.

Max Verstappen of Red Bull trailed Sergio Perez of Force India from the beginning of the race.

The red flag came out when Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo hit a wall exiting Turn 6, smashing up his left rear suspension.

The safety auto is out and numerous leading drivers pit.

Hamilton said: "I had two minutes to get my run". "Every corner can be a challenge".

It was a wild race in Baku as Daniel Ricciardo of Red Bull grabbed the top spot following several crashes and multiple safety cars. But it was disappointing for the 19-year-old Verstappen, considering he topped both of Friday's practices.

Chasing his second career pole, Bottas was also disappointed.

USA court upholds block on Trump's travel ban
According to the White House , the six nations mentioned in the executive order are Iran, Libya, Sudan, Somalia, Yemen, and Syria. In January, Trump had issued his initial travel ban, bringing chaos and protests to airports around the country.

"Yesterday we were at a bit of a loss and we had to make a lot of changes overnight", said Hamilton, who was 10th in P2. "So, nothing wrong on Lewis' side, it's just unfortunate". "But the guys did excellent work".

Vettel was also given three penalty points for the incident with Hamilton - which means he now has a total of nine for the past 12 months.

Both McLarens were eliminated in Q1 but will start from the back of the grid due to engine penalties, while Jolyon Palmer is likely to start from the pit lane after an engine fire in FP3 scuppered his hopes of taking part in qualifying.

Vettel thought Hamilton had slammed the brakes on intentionally - which is known as brake-testing - which Hamilton denied.

It was touch and go at one stage as Hamilton trailed his team mate after running wide on turn 16, with Bottas appearing destined for pole.

On lap 39 Bottas sets fast lap at 1m44.933s as he passes Ocon for third place.
