Wheelchair-Bound Coldplay Fan Crowdsurfs His Way To Stage During Concert

Rob, a 29-year-old disabled personal trainer, was enjoying the gig at the city's Croke Park Stadium in his wheelchair when fans lifted him up to crowdsurf in his chair so he could get a better view of the show.

Speaking to the BBC, Rob recounted his experience: "A lad fell on me".

"Chris Martin called me up and suddenly I was on stage with Coldplay".

29-year-old Rob was passed aloft and along by audience members at the Croke Park, Dublin gig, being spotted by Martin as he neared the stage.

Coldplay, who are on the Irish leg of their Head Full of Dreams world tour, opened the show, saying: "I heard a rumour that this crowd was going to be the loudest in history". No strangers to getting punters on stage, the Everglow singer brought him up for a sing song about Dublin.

"Well here we are in Dublin, and what an awesome crowd". Martin then proceeded to perform an impromptu song about Rob, and Dublin.
