But throughout his speech he put his focus on the "Cow Vigilantes" who are fraudulent and spread communal violence to achieve political favors, and thereby, the country is left at a loss of any benefit that it could rather have achieved, and the by product is 'A farcical Development'. "Those engaged in disturbing the harmony in the country are trying to take advantage of the situation", Modi said at an all-party meeting ahead of Parliament's monsoon session that begins on Monday.

"Cow is revered as the mother in our country. But we have to understand that there are laws governing cow protection and breaking these is not an alternative".

He claimed that the platform of cow protection was being abused by some anti-socials who want to spread anarchy across India.

Communal violence over cow protection must be curbed sternly: Modi

"This is affecting the image of the nation".

He added that State Governments must ensure the maintenance of law and order and strict action must be taken against those who break the law.

Mr. Modi had last spoken against cow vigilantism on June 30 at the Sabarmati Ashram, calling violence in the name of "gau bhakti" antithetical to Mahatma Gandhi's views. These parties have also planned to raise the issue during the Parliament session. The Prime Minister's first-ever visit to Israel is also likely to figure for discussion in the coming session.
