2 Jordanians Killed 1 Israeli Wounded at Israeli Embassy

Jordanian government officials were not immediately available for comment.

The security guard at Israel's embassy in Jordan who found himself at the center of a diplomatic row between the two countries will be questioned by Israeli police on suspicion of manslaughter, Israeli news site Ynet reported on Wednesday.

The incident comes at a time of mounting tensions between Israel and the Muslim world over metal detectors Israel installed at a Jerusalem shrine revered by Muslims and Jews.

Protests have since broken out in the holy site, with dozens of Muslim worshippers refused to enter the Mosque and prayed outside, considering the security checks a "violation" of the third holiest place for Muslims.

Prized recruit Mitchell Robinson leaves Western Kentucky's campus
Western Kentucky assistant coach Shammond Williams, who is the Robinson's godfather, resigned from his position this summer. The hope, however, for the Hilltoppers is that he'll return to campus and bolster their NCAA tournament hopes in 2018.

Netanyahu's office said in a statement that the embassy staff's return "was made possible thanks to close cooperation between Israel and Jordan".

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke by phone to Israel's ambassador in Jordan, the ministry said.

One of the workers allegedly stabbed an Israeli security officer with a screwdriver, who, in self-defence, opened fire on the assailant, 17, reports Efe news. A second Jordanian, the owner of the building who was also a physician, was hit by gunfire and later died of his wounds. Israeli authorities imposed reporting restrictions in the immediate aftermath.

Jordan is also heavily involved in efforts to defuse the crisis at the Jerusalem holy site.

Democrats and Republican Women Saved Your Health Care, Not John McCain
They understood that the various bills would do bad damage to middle-class and lower-income families in their states. President Trump responded on Twitter: "3 Republicans and 48 Democrats let the American people down".

Details of the incident in the Jordanian capital remain unclear.

Muslim leaders alleged Israel was trying to expand its control at the site under the guise of security, a claim Israel has denied. The tensions have led to mass prayer protests and Israeli-Palestinian violence.

Many of Jordan's 7 million citizens are of Palestinian origin, they or their parents having been expelled or fled to Jordan in the fighting that accompanied the creation of Israel in 1948. The cameras would be installed in Jerusalem's Old City where the shrine is located.

Jordan's ruling Hashemite dynasty, said to trace its ancestry to Prophet Muhammad, draws much of its legitimacy from its role as protector of the shrine.

Republican Obamacare Repeal Bill Fails
Going into Thursday's votes , Collins and Murkowski were widely considered the most likely Republicans to oppose the plan. In his remarks Friday, McConnell said it will be "interesting to see what [Democrats] suggest is the way forward".
