Pop star Bruno Mars made a surprise announcement during his concert Saturday night in Auburn Hills, Michigan, announcing a $1 million donation to The Community Foundation of Greater Flint to address the city's water crisis. During a performance in Auburn Hills, Michigan Saturday, the singer announced that the revenues from the concert would be directed to the Community Foundation of Greater Flint.

'I am very thankful to the MI audience for joining me in supporting this cause.

The Flint Water Crisis was identified in 2014 when the source for drinking water was switched from Detroit water to the Flint River.
