Luke Shaw's agent plays down talk of Manchester United departure

Luke Shaw's agent insists his client will not leave Manchester United this summer because they club "love him".

Rose made his displeasure at Tottenham's lack of investment in the playing squad clear this week with an explosive interview in The Sun.

"Manchester United love him and Luke Shaw loves Manchester United".

It has recently been claimed that the England worldwide could be used by Man United in an attempt to sign Tottenham Hotspur's Danny Rose this summer, but according to Shaw's agent, the left-back will not be leaving Old Trafford.

With United rumoured to be interested in Spurs' Danny Rose, Shaw has been linked with a switch to White Hart Lane as a potential replacement.

The question is whether he will spend the best years of his career with United, or be sent to Tottenham.

The 30-year-old has been linked with West Ham, Everton and Marseille since the arrival of club-record signing Lacazette.

Luke Shaw is going to be one of the best left-backs in the world.

The Daily Record says Mourinho is desperate to sign a new left-back this summer.

Shaw is now sidelined with a knee injury, but Mourinho said earlier this summer that he hopes he will return to action in September.
