Destiny 2 update: New patch notes confirmed following Bungie server downtime

We already knew that the first Destiny 2 Raid, Leviathan, will launch at 8 PM BST / 9 PM CEST tomorrow, so some of you might have been playing like insane to reach the maximum Power level.

Destiny 2 game director Luke Smith confirmed on Twitter that the Leviathan Raid has a Power range between 260 and 280.

Destiny 2 update: New patch notes confirmed following Bungie server downtime

The Destiny 2 Leviathan Raid has a September 13 release date and a 6pm start time in the UK. Here's hoping that mid-Raid drops will help improve players as they make progress through the Leviathan Raid. Most players should be able to reach 260 with relative ease, and higher Power is attainable through numerous methods.

It's quite possible that Bungie decided to make the first raid a bit more accessible to those who didn't have the time to grind over 280, resulting in it being set one step lower.

Though Destiny 2's Crucible mode has had a shake up with team sizes, the numbers to take part in Raids will remain the same, sticking at six players to participate.

Right now, a lot of Destiny players have been left out in the cold because of a lack of a matchmaking system for the Nightfall Strike, but a beta for Guided Games is beginning on September 12th. We've given you the when.
