Tom Brady appears to weigh in on Donald Trump's comments

"I am seriously thinking about it", said one Packers fan. He is fired. He's fired!' the president said during a rally for Alabama senatorial candidate Luther Strange on Friday.

Then there's Tom Brady, the Patriots quarterback who is also a friend of Trump's, but who opted against visiting the White House with the team this past offseason.

The comments sparked many throughout the National Football League, including players and owners, to speak out about his comments.

Later on, he took to social media to reinforce his point. Passion. Love. Brotherhood. Team. "Determination. Loyalty. Work. #nflplayer", Brady captioned the photo.

It's tough to infer a whole lot from one emoji, but both the post from Rodgers and the comment from Brady have garnered quite a bit of attention already.

A photo of Donald Trump's "Make America Great Again" hat in Brady's locker back in 2015 mired the quarterback in controversy over who he supports in politics. Patriots owner Robert Kraft said he was "deeply disappointed" by the president's remarks, while former Bills coach Rex Ryan said he was "pissed off" and wished he'd never supported Trump.

Kraft released a statement today where he responded to Trump's harsh comments.

Fellow captain Devin McCourty weighed in Saturday about Trump's comments.
