According to information obtained by TMZ, Paddock booked not one, but two rooms overlooking the festival which had 400,000 people in attendance. President Obama's daughter Malia was photographed at the event. While police continue to investigate his motives and discern a reason behind the attack, speculation stirred that he had booked a condo in Las Vegas a week prior for the Life Is Beautiful festival, and could have been targeting that event, as well. That festival featured Chicago's Chance The Rapper, who also performed at Lollapalooza on August 5. From those rooms, he would have had a bird's-eye view of the venue's main stage and smaller stages, as well as its entrance and exits, TMZ said. The gunman, identified as Stephen Paddock, 64, of Mesquite, Nevada, allegedly opened fire from a room on the 32nd floor of the hotel on the music festival, leaving at least 58 people dead and over 500 injured.
