When Behar said she believes his supporters will see the paper towel tossing as "a gesture of friendliness" and some of his comments as Trump being "lighthearted in a bad situation", Goldberg wasn't buying it.

Along with saying Puerto Rico had "thrown our budget a little out of whack", Mr Trump also claimed officials should be "proud" only 16 people had died as the result of Hurricane Maria, unlike in catastrophes such as Hurricane Katrina.

Almost two weeks after the storm, which is estimated to have caused $90 million (£67 million) of damage, 95% of electricity customers remain without power - including hospitals.

"Sixteen versus in the thousands", Mr Trump said on Tuesday, comparing the storm's certified death toll to the 1,833 killed in 2005 by Hurricane Katrina.

Bayern Munich news: Jupp Heynckes to manage Bundesliga giants for THIRD time
Bayern lately struggled with its future strategy as the original plan was to keep Ancelotti until the end of the 2017/2018 season. Whether one regards Heynckes' return as an act of desperation, behind the surprising news seems to stand a smart plan.

The offer came on Wednesday, a day after President Donald Trump visited Puerto Rico.

Then last night, in an interview with Univision's Jorge Ramos, Cruz fired back at Trump not only with words, but with quite the epic t-shirt as well. A BBC report said more than 90 per cent of the 3 and a half million people living on the island remain without power and phone communications.

"But that's fine because we've saved a lot of lives".

Cruz - Trump's most prominent critic in Puerto Rico - attended his first event in an airport hangar, shaking his hand as he went around a table greeting officials. "What really is nasty is showing your back to the Puerto Rican people". "You're going to say goodbye to that, I don't know if it's Goldman Sachs but whoever it is you can wave goodbye to that".

She also took particular issue with the "terrible" and "abominable" images of Trump throwing rolls of paper towels into a crowd of people during the visit.

In response, Trump tweeted on Saturday, "Such poor leadership ability by the Mayor of San Juan, and others in Puerto Rico, who are not able to get their workers to help".

But Cruz was more positive about her meeting with White House staff.

Tensions between Trump and Cruz have been running high in recent days.

Arun Shourie slams Modi govt, says demonetisation was 'idiotic jolt'
Like Shourie, Sinha too raised questions on the implementation of GST and said the move was "badly conceived" that played havoc with businesses.

Cruz, who exchanged a war of words with Trump over the weekend about the federal response to help the island recover, called Trump the "miscommunicator-in-chief" when she spoke to MSNBC on Tuesday. He added that Puerto Ricans "want everything to be done for them when it should be a community effort".
