Also Thursday, DJ Zedd announced he will join Linkin Park on drums for a concert at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on October 27 honoring Bennington who committed suicide in July.

The family of the heavy metal superstar gave their blessing to release the footage onto the band's Facebook page, where it surfaced on Thursday.

Bennington and two of his Linkin Park band members filmed the segment with actor Ken Jeong for James Corden's "The Late Late Show".

She said the reports were "deeply concerning" as senior politicians called for Weinstein to be stripped of his honorary CBE. A spokesman for the New York Police Department confirmed to AFP it is investigating the 2004 case, but provided no details.

The band sings along to a number of songs including their own Numb and In The End as well as Outkast's Hey Ya.

Bennington had joined Linkin Park in 1999 and the band released their latest album, "One More Light" in May.

The episode begins with a disclaimer message explaining that it was released with the permission of both Bennington's family and his bandmates, and that it was dedicated in his memory.

"I'm having so much fun, this is the best!", Bennington says at one point between peels of laughter. Bennington also shares how he came up with his trademark scream, and talks about his kids.

Whether or not the episode would air would be the choice of the late singer's family, Corden said after Bennington's death, which was the result of an apparent suicide on July 20. "Lily is curious, like, 'Daddy how do you write songs?"

He turns slightly serious when talking about his children, and how important it has been for him to support his daughters' love of music.

After the untimely death of front man Chester Bennington earlier this year, Linkin Park have shared a photo of their first rehearsal back together.
