An Australian mother was captured on video lifting a shark with her bare hands.

The clip was captioned, "Our in house Shark Wrangler Melissa Hatheier wrestling a shark out of Oak Park Rock Pool yesterday morning!" The shark was distressed because it couldn't escape, The Independent reported. After getting close to it, Hatheier said the shark became stressed and started hitting its head against the rocks.

Palestinian factions Hamas and Fatah reach agreement in Cairo
Fatah, the more moderate of the two groups, previously controlled Gaza but was ousted by Hamas a decade ago, leaving Palestine split in two.

After corralling the lost creature, she bends over to try to return it to its natural environment. "I then grabbed him around the neck so he couldn't swing around and bite me", she explained. She isn't sure if the shark was indeed a Port Jackson or another type.

Ms Hatheier, an agent with Cronulla Real Estate, was swimming in the pool when she passed over it. It received 316,000 views and made Hatheier a social media star. And while people find her deed impressive, Ms Hatheier finds all the attention surprising. Her son, Nathan, was also there, but he left earlier. After that the kind-hearted woman just threw the shark over the edge of the pool into the water and watched him swim away.

Then again, turns out the woman in question, Melissa Hatheier, is a real estate agent, so, you know, (insert joke about fellow predatory species here). "If it had big teeth I wouldn't have done it".

She said the reports were "deeply concerning" as senior politicians called for Weinstein to be stripped of his honorary CBE. A spokesman for the New York Police Department confirmed to AFP it is investigating the 2004 case, but provided no details.
