Some Democrats who opposed Iran nuke deal now want it upheld

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has told US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson that Iran abides by all its commitments on the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), and emphasized that all co-authors of the document must abide by it, the Russian Foreign Ministry said after a telephone conversation of the two diplomats.

The agency quotes Zarif as saying that if the United States acts against the deal, Iran will offer a "tougher response".

Trump will use an executive order to declare Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) a terrorist organisation.

Parsi goes on to note that a quick glimpse at those rallying behind Trump's efforts to kill the deal-from former USA ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton and the hawkish Sen.

"If we pass the message that with every change of administration in Washington or elsewhere deals are thrown away and renegotiated, no one would negotiate with any administration ever and any deal would be exposed to be renegotiated every term".

She said that United States would lose global trust "because a deal that America voted for just two years ago in the UN Security Council with a resolution unanimously adopted, a deal that America helped to shape enormously, enormously, would be rejected by the same country". The agreement has been beneficial for Iran's economy, opening it to foreign markets and the global financial system, said Ahmad Khalid Majidyar, who previously taught Middle East issues to USA and North Atlantic Treaty Organisation military leaders at the Naval Postgraduate School's Leader Development and Education for Sustained Peace program.

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's Iconic Blue WagonR Car Stolen From Secretariat Area
The Wagon R auto was very famous as the Kejriwal had used it on many occasions during his protests in the national capital. Police said they are hunting for the auto on priority as it has a sticker allowing access to Vidhan Sabha and VIP areas.

And if that fails, Cotton said, "We may have to impose new, even more coercive, sanctions".

What follows after de-certification of deal?

If Trump does decertify the accord as expected, it would put him at odds with Defense Secretary James Mattis, who last week said Tehran was "fundamentally" in compliance with the agreement and that the USA should stick with the pact.

Trump is also expected to seek amendments in the existing deal with respect to the requirement for the United States president to re-certify Iran's compliance every 90 days. It also reported the announcement would probably be Friday and that the administration doesn't want to scrap the deal entirely and proposed a legislative remedy.

If Trump decertifies the agreement, Congress will have 60 days in which it can reimpose economic sanctions on Iran. She said, "It is not a deal you can easily open and renegotiate". "Once it was entered into, once it was implemented, we want to see it enforced".

Even so, some experts told CNBC that decertification will undermine the worldwide deal and encourage hardliners in Tehran to push for nuclear weapons.

Records showed that her client was buying a Green Dot card 5 miles away at the time of the crime, she said. First responder Cole Haley , Chief of Courtland Fire Department, recalled arriving at the scene.

First, Congress could vote to snap sanctions back into place, or Trump could refuse to sign the next round of waivers for sanctions.

Even Iranian hardliners who were originally opposed to the deal have joined former opponents who are fighting to remain. But again, none of that is likely since the US would be essentially tearing up the agreement and taking the blame for whatever comes next.

In this environment, many Democrats believe working on the periphery of the deal could be the congressional equivalent of destroying the village to save it. The IAEA certified in its latest quarterly report on August 31, 2017, that Iran has complied with the JCPOA and that its stock of low-enriched uranium and centrifuges for enrichment are in line with the nuclear pact.

But it could be hard to get both Iran and its ally, Russia, back to the table for a new round of talks.
