Authorities say 32-year-old Kenneth White of Mount Morris was riding in a vehicle Wednesday night in Vienna Township when he was hit by a rock thrown from a highway overpass.

Kenny White, 32, was on his way home from a construction job in the passenger seat of a van when tragedy struck about 8.30pm on Wednesday, Daily Mail reports.

The incident is being investigated as a potential homicide. He was pronounced dead after being transported to Hurley Medical Center.

White's loved ones have also set up a GoFundMe page.

As of Friday evening, EST, $13.7K of a $19,000 goal had been donated.

According to deputies, the 32-year-old Mt. Morris man was driving on southbound I-75 near Dodge Rd. when someone threw a large rock.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to $2,500 for information leading to an arrest.
