Bills agree to acquire WR Benjamin from Panthers for a pair of draft picks

Buffalo agreed to acquire WR Kelvin Benjamin from the Carolina Panthers in exchange for a third and seventh-round pick in 2018. The two worked in the Panthers organization before joining the Bills and assuming the task of fixing a franchise that appeared to be in disarray. He almost won a Super Bowl without Benjamin two years ago, but Newton had Greg Olsen that season. He has 168 career receptions for 2,424 yards and 18 touchdowns.

The Bills visit the Jets in a divisional match up on Thursday night. He missed the 2015 season after tearing his ACL prior to the regular season.

Saudi Arabia To Allow Women Into Sports Stadiums From 2018
This decision comes at a time when the muslim kingdom of the Gulf has recently started an easing of restrictions imposed on women. From next year, they will be allowed into three sports stadiums for the first time.

Benjamin has 32 receptions for 475 yards and two touchdowns this season. An MRI revealed no structural damage and he returned the following week.

This is a huge get for a team with the fourth-worst passing offense in the league. In Week 4 against the Patriots at Gillette Stadium, he made four catches for 104 yards as the Panthers won 33-30.

Devin Funchess would be Carolina's new No. 1 receiver and Russell Shepard and rookie Curtis Samuel are now expected to see increased playing time. They are still without Pro Bowl tight end Greg Olsen, who is now on injured reserve with a broken foot. Already thin at the position, Carolina surprisingly did not receive any player in return but recently added wide receiver Kaelin Clay back to the roster from Buffalo.
