Patrice Evra Suspended by Olympique Marseille After Kicking Fan

If you didn't manage to catch the story last night, substitute Patrice Evra was sent off before Marseille's game with Vitoria in the Europa League after kicking one of his own fan's in the head.

Video footage showed Evra aiming the kick at the Marseille fan as visiting players and supporters confronted each other at the side of the pitch.

The disciplinary action comes after Evra appeared to kick out at a Marseille supporter before the game, per another report from BBC Sport.

France fullback Evra has been regularly targeted by Marseille fans since joining from Juventus during the close season and his poor performances have led coach Rudi Garcia to drop him from the starting line-up.

Evra was subsequently sent off by the referee before the game had even started.

"An internal investigation has been opened to establish responsibilities." the statement read via Sky Sports.

At 36 years old, with his play declining, this incident might be career-ending for Evra.

"In any case, a professional player must keep his cool in the face of provocations and insults as hard and unjustified as they are".

WhatsApp reportedly down in India and globally for 60 percent users
Earlier in May, WhatsApp faced a similar problem but unlike today the outage went for few hours (much longer than today). It showed that the outage was global in nature, with severely affected regions being Europe, India and Malaysia.

Garcia also blamed the victim of Evra's karate kick, claiming he is not a true fan of the club after continuously insulting their own players.

And he was caught on camera raising his boot to a supporter in scenes similar to when Cantona ran into the crowd at Selhurst Park 12 years ago.

"Pat has experience, and he must not react. It's obvious", Garcia said.

Qualcomm up after rumor of Broadcom interest
Shares of Broadcom have rallied this year while Qualcomm has fallen, making the target more vulnerable. Nothing has been hammered out yet and there's no guarantee that a deal will materialize.
