Donald Trump Asks China President To Resolve UCLA Basketball Arrests

According to The Washington Post, Trump "personally asked" Xi Jinping, China's president, to assist with remedying the arrest of three UCLA men's basketball players - LiAngelo Ball, Jalen Hill, and Cody Riley.

Xi promised to look into the case and ensure that the players be treated fairly, a U.S. official told the paper.

Trump arrived a day after the three players were arrested after allegedly shoplifting from a Louis Vuitton store in Hangzhou.
