Outpouring of support from former teammates as Liam Miller battles pancreatic cancer

Manchester United and Celtic have both tweeted their support for Liam Miller and his family after it emerged he was battling cancer.

The 36-year-old began his career at Parkhead, scoring two goals in 26 appearances during the Martin O'Neill era before moving to Manchester United.

Miller began his career with Celtic before Sir Alex Ferguson brought the Republic of Ireland global to Manchester United in 2004.

Former Celtic player Chris Sutton also wished him a speedy recovery on twitter.
