A controversial Tweet allegedly posted Friday by a nurse at Indiana University Health has sparked an internal investigation

An Indiana nurse has lost her job following backlash over a tweet suggesting white boys are raised to be "rapists" and "killers" and should be sacrificed to the wolves.

The nurse in question, Taiyesha Baker, is at the center of an investigation after an alleged tweet of hers blaming white women for the evil in the world surfaced this week, reports Fox 29. "Our Human Resources Department is investigating this issue and will take appropriate action".

It added, "Our HR department continues to investigate the situation and the authenticity of the posts". He also said that she was not working at Riley Hospital for Children nor did she have access to patients during the investigation, according to Indy Star.

A spokesperson confirmed to CBS that Baker was a registered nurse, but IU Health would not comment on which specific hospital employed her.

Yesterday (November 26) a spokesperson said: "A recently hired IU Health employee tied to troubling posts on social media this weekend is no longer an employee of IU Health". "That's inaccurate as details around the decision are not known at this time".

In previous tweets that have now been deleted, Baker claimed to have worked in pediatrics.

The Twitter user was later identified by WXIN-TV in Indianapolis as Taiyesha Baker, a nurse working with Indiana University Health.
