The White House has a rat problem - literally.

Mice, cockroaches, ants and a broken toilet seat are some of the dozens of issues reported to maintenance workers by Donald Trump's White House staff.

The vermin reportedly infiltrated numerous areas on the grounds - including the White House Navy mess food hall, the Situation Room and the chief of staff's office.

White House officials sent hundreds of requests to the GSA.

The number of requests for building maintenance and redecorating was similar to past administrations, NBC reports.
