Ex-NFL star Warren Moon denies sexual harassment claims

Hall of Fame QB Warren Moon sued for sexual harassment

Hall of Fame QB Warren Moon sued for sexual harassment

According to the lawsuit, Haskell was hired by Sports 1 Marketing in early July to be Moon's executive assistant, and her responsibilities included traveling with him for speaking engagements, charity events and personal appearances. "Mr. Moon denies the claims by Ms. Haskell".

A representative from Moon's company did not immediately respond to Reuters when asked to comment on the allegations against the 61-year-old former quarterback.

Hall of Famer and Seattle Seahawks radio analyst, Warren Moon, has requested a leave of absence from the broadcast team.

Haskell also alleges Moon would walk into the bathroom while she was showering in hotels on business trips. She also accused Moon of drugging a drink of hers during an October trip to Mexico.

3 dead, including suspect, after New Mexico school shooting
Kyle Lincoln from the San Juan County Sheriff Department are clearing the building and actively searching the school. Authorities say a shooting at a high school in a small New Mexico town left two students and the suspect dead.

After beginning his career in the CFL and then playing 12 years for the Oilers and Vikings, he spent the 1997 and 1998 seasons with the Seahawks before finishing up his playing career with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2000.

According to the lawsuit, Moon forced Haskell to share a bed with him and wear "skimpy thong lingerie bottoms" at night.

"Whenever [the assistant] expressed reservations about these outrageous "job duties, ' Moon insisted this was "just the way it is, ' and threatened [the assistant] that unless she was 'comfortable" with him, he'd 'find someone else who was.' Moon insisted these 'requirements" were part of the job, and made clear that [the assistant]'s employment depended on her acceptance and compliance with Moon's lascivious behavior, demands and orders".

Moon, who was named the NFL's Walter Payton Man of the Year in 1989, was sued by a Vikings cheerleader who accused him of offering her cash for sex in 1995. The case was settled out of court within days.

US deportations decline in 2017 but arrests of illegal immigrants rise
ICE said "interior removals" - people deported after being arrested away from the border - jumped 25 percent to 81,603. During the same time period, the agency arrested more than 110,000 people, a 42 percent increase over the prior year.

Moon works as a color commentator for the Seahawks' radio network.

Moon was accused of striking his then wife, Felicia Moon, on the head with an open hand and choking her to the point that she nearly lost consciousness before she escaped from the couple's home in July 1995. The couple divorced in 2001.

Moon, who played professionally in Canada before going on to star in the National Football League, is the co-founder and president of the Irvine, California-based company, which was also named as a defendant in the lawsuit.

The Washington Post first reported on the lawsuit Wednesday.
