2 planes collide on tarmac at Toronto airport; passengers report confusion

Passengers were forced to evacuate a burning plane via the emergency slides after two aircrafts collided on the ground at Toronto's Pearson International Airport. No injuries have been reported yet.

The empty plane's wing burst into flames after the collision, causing panic among passengers on the WestJet aircraft.

The WestJet flight was carrying 168 passengers and a crew of six at the time of the collision.

Sunwing, part of the privately held Sunwing Travel Group, said there were no passengers or crew aboard its aircraft, which was being towed by the airline's ground handling service provider at the time of the incident. Photos from the incident also showed severe damage sustained to the tail of the Sunwing jet. In the audio, the pilot hurriedly notifies an evacuation and fire crews are scrambled.

Mariota finished with more than 200 passing yards and had two touchdowns in Tennessee's 22-21 win over Kansas City. Somehow, Mariota threw a pass, had it tipped, and caught it for a touchdown.

Flight attendants eventually evacuated the passengers, who had just landed at the airport after flying in from Cancun, Mexico, on emergency slides.

Toronto Pearson Airport released a statement via Twitter announcing that all WestJet passengers arrived safely at the terminal and cleared customs.

"When you see all the fire and the smoke and everybody standing, people didn't know what to do", she told CTV News.

Canada's Transportation Safety Board said it is investigating.

A Saudi-led coalition - cobbled together in 2015 to fight the Houthis - has yet to comment on the television channel's assertions. But despite the coalition's superior firepower, the rebels still control the capital and much of the north.

Alagheband said he never heard announcements coming from the pilot clarifying how to proceed, a situation he said was risky given the fact that a fire was burning near an area where plane fuel is stored.

Ali Alagheband, an engineer from Toronto, says chaos erupted when the plane was struck and a fire started outside.

Fire and emergency services responded to the collision on Saturday between a Sunwing Airlines aircraft and Westjet Airlines plane.

Jon Gruden to be named coach of Oakland Raiders
Other teams have also done it, with one of the most recent notable coaching hires being Joe Gibbs in Washington. This would not mark the first time the Raiders brought back a coach for a second stint.
