Man arrested for stalking and harassing Sara Tendulkar

A middle-aged man has been arrested by Mumbai Police special team from a village in East Midnapur for allegedly troubling Sachin Tendulkar's daughter.

Tendulkar's assistant had approached Bandra police on Friday and a case was registered in the regard.

The accused, identified as Devkumar Mitti, allegedly made several calls to the landline number of the ace cricketer, a resident of suburban Bandra, in December previous year, a police official said. Admitting that he had made several calls, Debkumar argued that there was nothing wrong in his desire to marry Sara.
