So far, a dozen boats have not found any sign of Nik Kayler, an Apopka husband and father.

Kayler was participating in a bass fishing tournament with William Kisiah, of Lousiana, when their boat capsized, flinging them into the water.

FLW released an update that Kisiah was found alive late Thursday night with his boat which as you can see in the clip below had been wrecked at some point during the first day of the tournament.

Air temperatures dipped to 35 degrees Thursday and winds measured 15 to 20 miles per hour near Clewiston, according to the National Weather Service.

Fishing League Worldwide canceled the event Friday as FWCC worked with the U.S. Coast Guard and local authorities to try and locate Kayler. As of the morning of January 5, Kisiah was in Belle Glade Hospital in serious condition with hypothermia. The boat that the anglers were competing in is a dark-colored Ranger Z521 with a red Evinrude G2 outboard.
