Now, she's making history as a fully-formed human baby on the cover of Vogue.

Williams said she felt short of breath the next day and suspected she was having a pulmonary embolism, when blood clots block one or more arteries in the lungs.

"I was like, a Doppler (ultrasound)? I told you, I need a CT scan and a heparin drip", Williams recalled. They finally did the CT, and sure enough, there were several blood clots in her lungs. "I was like, listen to Dr. Williams!" she quipped.

"After competing in Abu Dhabi I realised that although I am super close, I'm not where I personally want to be", she said in a statement on Snapchat.
