"The rulers in the United States know that they didn't achieve their goal: they might try to repeat it, but they know that can never achieve it", stated Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Supreme Leader of Iran.

In late December, peaceful protests over economic problems broke out in a number of Iranian cities, but the gatherings turned violent in some places when groups of participants, some of them armed, vandalized public property and launched attacks on police stations and government buildings.

"Once again, the nation tells the US, Britain, and those who seek to overthrow the Islamic Republic of Iran from overseas that 'you've failed, and you will fail in the future, too'".

The president later added that any discussions with North Korea would be accompanied by unspecified conditions. But it was not clear how his remarks fit with his self-described policy of "maximum pressure" on Pyongyang.

On Monday, state-run Aftab News reported that Sina Ghanbari died in custody after being held in Tehran's notorious Evin Prison along with hundreds of other protesters.

The reports have raised concerns among human rights activists and some Iranian politicians that detainees may have been killed by security forces while in custody.

In Twitter posts and on his website, the country's supreme leader mocked Trump's assertion that "the Iranian government is afraid of USA power", the New York Times reported.

There has been no official confirmation about this just yet, either from Dropbox or Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan for that matter. The file-storage company Dropbox has filed papers indicating its attention public, according to business news site Bloomberg .

"On the one hand, the U.S. government, in a hypocritical move and by chanting utterly false slogans, claims to be supporting the Iranian people, and on the other hand, taunts the civilized Iranian nation by imposing unfair sanctions, barring Iranian nationals from entering that country, and showing other malicious behaviors". In a series of tweets from the official account, he accused that all of Iran's adversaries - the US, Saudi Arabia and Israel - were involved in orchestrating the rallies.

The violent clashes, which claimed the lives of at least 21 people, were the biggest challenge to the Iranian government's authority since mass demonstrations in 2009.

"In Iran too, we have eyes and ears", Yossi Cohen told a Finance Ministry conference in Jerusalem.

Between January and November, there were 62 homicides per 100,000 residents in Baja California Sur, where Los Cabos is located. Mexico as a whole was given a "level-two" rating considering the rising violence which claimed 22,409 lives in 11 months.
