According to a new report done by The Wall Street Journal, Apple Music is attracting subscribers at a higher rate than their competitors at Spotify.

The report comes from the WSJ, stating that Apple Music's growth could potentially leave behind Spotify in 2018 in terms of subscriber count. If the rates hold, Apple Music will overtake Spotify by summer.

Music streaming services have soared in the past five years as the largest revenue generator for the music industry, as CD sales and album and song downloads declined.
