Next Call of Duty Game Will Be Black Ops 4; Coming to PS4, Xbox One and Switch Says Source

This year's Call of Duty installment will be handled by Treyarch and not so surprisingly, this has led to rumors of Black Ops 4.

However, according to a well-known insider, Marcus Sellars, to whom we owe several confirmed rumors of the arrival of Dark Souls and Labo on Nintendo Switch, the 2018 Call of Duty will be Black Ops 4 and will also be released on Nintendo Switch. Interestingly enough, the game is also coming to Nintendo Switch, complete with DLC, HD Rumble and motion controls support.

The folks over at Treyarch Studios are busy working on the next Call of Duty game. "The Switch version is also being ported by a company which is familiar with COD games".

He claims that Cod 2018 will be set in "modern times", which links up with a 2017 job listing that Activision and Treyach released. As it stands now, most rumors/information pertaining to Call of Duty 2018 seem to point to a more modern entry to the series. However, it has been established that it will be coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and the Switch. It has become the fastest-growing Nintendo console in the United States and has already proven to be a competent device to play shooters in with the release of "DOOM" on the portable platform. Black Ops 4 will reportedly be set in modern times, with boots-on-the-ground gameplay - meaning wall running and jet packs are out of the picture.
