Broadcom now offers 'best and final' offer to Qualcomm



Broadcom said its offer stood whether Qualcomm's $47 billion bid for Dutch rival NXP was completed or is terminated. That offer was unanimously rejected by Qualcomm's board of directors last November on the basis that it undervalued the company.

Broadcom increased its offer to acquire Qualcomm to about $121 billion, calling it its "best and final" offer to acquire the rival semiconductor vendor.

Broadcom is back with what looks like a final offer to acquire USA -based chipset manufacturer Qualcomm.
