The rest of the country hasn't got off the hook as a status yellow rainfall warning has been issued for Saturday for the entire province of Connacht as well as Cavan, Monaghan and Donegal. Lowest temperatures will range from -1°C to +2°C.

The warning is in place from just after midnight on Sunday morning and into 11am.

A wind warning is in place for Munster, Leinster and Galway from 3pm this afternoon, with winds of 55 - 65km/h and gusts up to 110 km/h expected.

On Friday afternoon, Met Éireann issued their latest batch of seemingly never-ending weather warnings and no county in the Republic of Ireland is being let off the hook.
