IOS 12 for iPads Looks Like a Big Bummer

Here Are 4 All-Time Records Apple Broke in 2018's First Quarter

According to people familiar with the change, Apple will continue to have an annual release, but engineers will focus on features that will be released over the next two years, allowing them to move out features that aren't ideal yet.

Bloomberg's Mark Gurman is reporting that Apple plans to bring Animoji to the iPad thanks to the release of a new model of the tablet that features the company's Face ID module.

Instead of "keeping engineers on a relentless annual schedule and cramming features into a single update", Apple will give their engineers the green light to push back features they don't feel are quite ready for upcoming iOS updates. In the future, that could mean fewer bugs as the focus shifts somewhat from an annual update schedule, the news service said.

German Chancellor urges for younger ministers in reformed government
The coalition deal has yet to be approved by the SPD's approximately 460,000 members, whose verdict will be announced on 4 March. German Chancellor Angela Merkel will meet Turkish Prime Minister Ben Ali Yildirim in Berlin on Thursday.

Rather than a long list of attention-grabbing features which can then become a chain around its neck, Apple instead intends to be more measured with each iterative iOS update, Bloomberg reports. This includes a feature which would have made it possible to run multiple windows in one app with users being able to click between them like tabs in a web browser.

Oh, and the iOS 12 update will have a redesigned, built-in Stocks app.

Apple has yet to confirm the change, but the reported strategy isn't surprising.

Dear John: Alberta launches petition to BC's Premier Horgan in pipeline fight
Tombe said B.C. does not have a legal leg to stand on, in its authority to restrict oil from Alberta. Notley later announced a province-wide ban on B.C. wine imports, effective immediately.

As you can see, Apple will continue to update its software annually, but without rushing developers to meet annual deadlines. Freshening of the Apple Pencil and an email notification mute feature are also being pushed back to 2019 at the earliest.

For the previous year, armchair analysts and experts have been debating whether the glitches mean that the quality of Apple software is getting worse. The risk here is that consumers in a competitive environment won't be satisfied with minor changes and jump ship for something more innovative, but it's a chance Apple will have to take if it wants to hold on to its reputation of superior software. In June this year, Apple will showcase iOS 12. This release will also feature universal apps that work across iOS devices and Mac computers.

What you won't get are a redesigned home screen for the iPhone, iPad, and CarPlay, and an overhauled Photos app that offers up suggestions for images to view - they're going on the back-burner. For example, you could run the Messages app twice side-by-side to interact with two threads at once.

United Kingdom unveils extremism blocking tool
Developed by ASI Data Science, the system takes advantage of machine learning to analyze online videos and determine the contents. The program will be shared with smaller companies that don't have the resources to develop such technology, the agency said.

However, Apple may try to get out of the puddle in which she sat, and make iOS 12 is really reliable.
