Britain partners with AI startup to bracket extremist content

The UK has declared a tool to have been created to correctly spot extremist material online and block it.

Home Secretary Amber Rudd told the BBC she would not rule out forcing technology companies to use it by law.

13, 2018 is unveiling new technology to remove extremist material from social media.

The British Home Office unveiled a new technology Tuesday that it said can detect extremist content on any online platform with a high degree of accuracy.

New Zealand took 62 from the last five, Williamson making Wood curse his earlier error even more by taking 17 off his penultimate over.

Developed by ASI Data Science, the system takes advantage of machine learning to analyze online videos and determine the contents. The program will be shared with smaller companies that don't have the resources to develop such technology, the agency said. While companies like YouTube, Facebook, and Google have introduced a variety of tools to help combat the situation, the United Kingdom government seems to think it's not good enough.

ASI Data Science said the software can be configured to detect 94% of IS video uploads.

Ms Rudd welcomed recent efforts by internet companies to ensure their platforms are not being abused by terrorist groups.

During her visit to the USA west coast, Rudd will discuss what companies are doing to develop methods that identify Daesh propaganda, and support smaller companies, such as Vimeo, Telegra.ph and pCloud to remove terrorist content from their platforms.

They say the U.S.is not an honest broker and have pre-emptively rejected any peace proposal presented by the Trump administration. Israel has annexed East Jerusalem and declared the entire city as its capital, a move not recognized by the worldwide community.

The government also faces a challenge in predicting which platforms terrorists will turn to next.

Some people therefore argued that terrorists will simply find away around the new technology. The government says that it can be integrated into the upload tool of any platform, meaning that videos can be blocked before they even make it online. Structures have to change.

"I think it's a positive step but it shouldn't be considered a solution the problem", he said.

As part of her two-day visit to San Francisco, she will meet Secretary of Homeland Security Kirstjen Nielsen to discuss how the United Kingdom and USA can work together to tackle terrorist content online, and the pair will appear at a Digital Forum event later today.
